So the concept of a brand or logo, when you see the FedEx truck logo, that means something. When you sign up for Southwest, that means something when you buy Coca Cola, at the store, that means something you know what to expect from those brands.
Brands Have Meaning
When you go to Disney World and Walt Disney, you see that brand you know what to expect. A big part of trust is having an expectation and then having that expectation be be fulfilled. You buy a Coke at the store. And I know the taste of Coke.
I like the taste of Coke. I feel like a Coke. Boom. You get a Coke. Oh, meets my expectation.
That level of trust and branding, the next time I go and I have that feeling, I know that that’s going to be fulfilled. Same thing with Southwest. Same thing with Disney. Same thing with FedEx.
It’s all about establishing that identity, ▪ establishing that level of trust or that element of trust with the consumer. And in this case, with the injured worker and the employee population.
Establish Brand & Logo for Your Work Comp Program
First thing we do, one of the first things that we do when we start is to establish a brand or logo for your work comp program. For your work comp program, I’ve given this example many times. I’ll give it again here.
The ACME, IPAP program, the injury prevention and recovery, I’m going to write it down. Injury prevention and recovery program. So the injury prevention and recovery program.

This is your Acme company. You work for the Acme company. We’ve got the Acme IPAR program. Injury prevention and recovery, and we create a little logo. Use your company’s branding. Here’s your company’s branding and logo.
You create this, or you come up with something else that’s unique for you better off to come up something unique for you. The cat program, the claims and transitional duty program, whatever it is that you come up with, then that’s meaningful to you.
Very Simple & Powerful Exercise
Very powerful exercise, very simple exercise. It can be a very simple exercise to start to say this is how we do it here. This is how we do it. And our employees can trust that. Our employees can trust that. Our employees can buy into this. They know when they get hurt, they see that IPAR logo Boom. I understand what to expect. I know that I’m gonna be taken care of.
That level of trust is established right out of the gates. So we’re establishing that brand or that logo right out of the beginning.
