“13 Research Studies to Prove Value of Return-to-Work Program & Gain Stakeholder Buy-In”

What percentage of injured employees is realistic to return to work in zero to four days. What percentage of injured employees is realistic to return to work in zero to four days? Hello, my name is Michael Stack and I’m the CEO of Amaxx. And that question, that benchmark, that return-to-work ratio as we call it is a huge, huge indicator of how well your program is functioning, returning injured employees to work at the goal.

Goal: 95% of Injured Workers RTW w/in 0-4 Days

That’s the goal we’re looking for for the vast, vast majority of injured employees that are hurt at work. Even the cash traffic injuries. Our goal is still often to return those employees eventually to some sort of work and some sort of function. So if this piece of returning injured employees to work is so important, what is realistic for us to expect? And I’m going to tell you here, it’s 95% within zero to four days, 95% of employees, the vast majority employees should be back to work right away should be back to work right away should be back to work right away in zero to four days.

Where Do You Currently Stand?

The question then is how do you make that happen? The first thing that you need to do, and that’s going to be in the beyond. The scope of this video is have the goal of where you want to go have the goal of where do you want to go and know where you currently stand? You’ll take a look at your last 10 injuries that happen at your organization. How many of them returned to work within zero to four days? You know, if you’re down here at 25% or 15% or 40%, you know, whatever that number is, wherever you currently are, know that there’s room for improvement. You need to set that goal of where you want to go before you get there. And the point of this video, the point of this lesson is to have you start to think and realize that the best in class organizations, that’s where they’re at.

Put A Plan In Place

That’s where they’re at. They’re at 95% or greater injured workers are returning to work within zero to four days. Set that vision, set that goal for where do you want to go in your return to work program, then put a plan in place to fix what’s wrong and work and continue to lean into what’s going right in order to achieve that goal. Again, my name is Michael Stack and the CEO of Amaxx. And remember your work today in workers’ compensation can have a dramatic impact on your company’s bottom line, but it will have a dramatic impact on someone’s life. So be great.
