“9-Element Blueprint To Create Your Workers’ Comp Employee Brochure”
You just can’t beat the value of an in person meeting. Hello, my name is Michael Stack. I’m the CEO of Amaxx, and today I want to talk about this concept of seeing people in person, face to face. We all love Zoom and we Go To Meeting. We love all the virtual technology, but there’s just no substitute for meeting and seeing people in person.
Go to See Injured Employees in the Hospital
Just a real quick, simple message today. When an injured worker is hurt, one of your employees is hurt. Go to see them at the hospital, go to see them at the hospital. If they’re in the hospital, particularly if they’re gonna be overnight in the hospital. This isn’t the majority of your employees. This isn’t the even, most. This is a very small percentage of employees that are actually hospitalized overnight that go through the work comp claim process.
Communication Best Practices
When we talk about communication best practices, we talk about writing and get-well card. We talk about making a first day phone call. When your employees are in the hospital, they go to the hospital, they’re being hospitalized over a, again, this is a small percentage of employees that are actually going to be hospitalized overnight, that are having a work comp claim. Small percentage, if you know the value of seeing people in person, you’ve done zoom meetings, you’ve done go-to meetings, you’ve done all kinds of virtual meetings. But when you get together with someone, a friend, a colleague, a business professional, a professional meeting, it is so much more powerful. Apply that same concept when an injured employee is hurt and being hospitalized overnight.
Huge Impact in Cost, Claim Outcome, and Emotion
If you go to see them, the impact that it will make is huge. The impact that it will make is huge. Very simple message, very simple concept executed, and you will see immediate and massive positive results, both in terms of the trust, the personal relationship with your employee, and that claim outcome, and in terms of costs as well.
Again, my name is Michael Stack. I’m the CEO of Amaxx. Remember, your work today, worker’s compensation have a dramatic impact on your company’s bottom line, but it will have a dramatic impact on someone’s life. So be great.
