Keeping California businesses up to speed with preventing and reacting to workplace injuries is once again in focus.
State Fund is co-sponsoring a series of free seminars to help California employers develop a written Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
All California employers are required to establish, implement, and maintain a written IIPP. At the seminar, employers will learn how to develop an IIPP or update an existing plan. An effective plan can save time, money, and lives.
Seminars are designed for businesses with fewer than 50 employees and open to business owners, managers, and lead workers in charge of their organization’s safety programs. Training is provided by UC Berkeley’s Labor Occupational Health Program and Cal/OSHA’s free consultation service.
