Employers in Nova Scotia seeking workplace insurance coverage can now apply for coverage online through the WCB Nova Scotia website.
Launched on the heels of the Board’s new corporate website, the online registration form is another example of how the WCB is making it easier for Nova Scotians to interact with them.
Through the online employer registration form, employers can apply for workplace insurance quickly and easily online.
Previously, employers had to complete a print form and mail or fax the registration. Now, in addition to reducing the paper footprint, employers will immediately receive a confirmation email including useful links and information about health and safety.
In-person and mail/fax options are still available for employers who cannot register online.

Website’s Goal is Simply Better Service
The corporate website plays a key role in how WCB serves its customers.
The goal of WCB’s revised corporate website is to provide better service to those who visit, by helping them find what they need more easily – while also promoting workplace safety, return to work, and the management of injury’s impact on our province.
There are changes to how information is organized and accessed, based directly on testing and surveys with site users.
The new site design provides an intuitive user experience, and is also fully responsive to conform to different screen sizes, such as mobile devices.
Other improvements include:
* Navigation and menus provide easier access to information most relevant to you, the user
* Faster homepage access to most frequently accessed pages for Workers, Employers and Health Service Providers
* Improved naming of pages to make it easier to find what you need
* Larger, easy to read fonts and type
Lastly, the most popular links on the site have been mapped and should update automatically to the new location.
