An Advocacy Approach in Claims Handling

On Wed, May 11, 2022 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM EDT, Join Alisa Hofmann, and Diedra Rae as they address the humanistic approach to better Claim Settlements. Humanistic as an adjective can be defined as “having concern for or helping to improve the welfare and happiness of people.” How can that possibly fit into Workers’ Compensation or settlements? In their presentation, they will show you examples of impossible WC situations in catastrophic injury and how they have been successful in navigating through state, government, and medical resources, reaching settlements that are fair to both parties and still set the injured worker up for success and protect their external current and future benefits providing them additional support and resources for post settlement success. They will address the usual Medicare, Medicaid, and trust topics, but with a humanistic spin.
