With the news of world events of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine fresh in my mind, i looked up at the statue and was filled with emotions of gratitude and appreciation for what she stood for. Hello my name is Michael Stack and i’m the CEO of Amaxx and last week i had the pleasure to go with our kids school. My wife runs a private school and we went to go visit New York city and the statue of liberty they studied U.S citizenship and then we went to New York city to see the statue and Ellis Island it was a wonderful wonderful trip during that time of looking up at the statue of liberty it was inspiring it was inspiring for understanding and appreciating what the statue stood for liberty freedom democracy the values of our nation here in the United States of America when you think about that this huge statue beautiful statue manhattan skyline in the background it’s incredibly powerful what i want you to do is think about that same idea for what a statue made out of copper represents and the emotion that it can bring up in individuals and i want you to apply that same concept that powerful powerful concept to your work comp program

Here’s what i want you to do what does your work comp program stand for what are the values of your organization what are the values of your work cop program your injury management program your injury prevention program i want you to create a name for it and i want you to create a logo for it this is work comp 101 what do you stand for at the acme this is your company the acme company whatever your company name is the injury prevention and recovery program ipar program you could obviously come up with a different name use the cat program use the the bond program you know i don’t know if bond’s the right word but you get the idea come up with an acronym that works for you use this one if you want ipar injury prevention and recovery program what does it stand for think about the statue of liberty what that stands for it stands for the values of our nation it creates an emotion it has a meaning behind it when you create a name and a logo for your company you create and have the opportunity to create that same emotion that it means something to your employees if you get hurt oh they’ve got the ipad program okay good that makes me feel better this stands for something this stands for the values of your organization and how you’re going to treat your injured workers this is fundamental to what you can do with your organization to make an impact on your injured workers on your culture and oh by the way dramatically reduce your work comp costs again my name is Michael Stack and i’m the CEO of Amaxx remember your work today in workers compensation can have a dramatic impact on your company’s bottom line, but it will have a dramatic impact on someone’s life so be great.
