In the 2009 RIMS Benchmark Survey, the ten areas of inquiry are taken from Workers Comp Kit to determine how well companies are “covering their bases.” These areas are: 1- Use of Resources 2- Claim Reviews 3-Post Injury Response Plan 4-Return to Work Policy 5- Medical Care Coordination 6- Performance Goals 7-Communication 8-Training 9-Fraud Reporting 10- Medical Cost Containment This groundbreaking action allows companies to now compare their performance to the risk management community.
