Utah Workers’ Compensation Fund Declares $10 Million Dividend
Utah’s Workers’ Compensation Fund (WCF) recently declared a $10 million dividend to be distributed to a majority of policyholders this month. Policyholders can expect to receive 4.5 percent of their earned premium attributable to the 2008 calendar year.
With this distribution, WCF will have returned more than $320 million in dividends to its policyholders since 1990. Dividends are paid from WCF’s surplus, created from the company’s operational efficiencies and investment portfolio performance.
