Welcome to Workers Comp Roundup Blog. Our focus is helping employers reduce their workers comp costs. Do not worry, it IS fun. We've work with employers of all sizes and types to help them put programs in place to reduce their workers comp costs across the board.
This site hosts many experts in workers comp cost containment. We have experience in corporations and with two large insurance brokers. I am an attorney who after several years at a law firm, started working in risk management as in-house counsel at a major corporation. At the time, I knew nothing about workers' compensation! Literally, I saw those claims on the loss run, but was told the insurance company manages those claims so I should focus on other issues.
We'll experiment with several formats to see which works best. For example, we'll start by using our "modules" in Workers Comp located at: www.ReduceYourWorkersComp.com and we'll start with doing an assessment of your current program to see what gaps and opportunities for cost reduction exist. We have 10 modules and we'll use a "holistic" approach to reduce over all WC (workers' comp) costs.
We also have four MD's who are experts in WC and work as part-time medical advisors to companies and review claims as independent contractors. I've worked with them for a long time, especially Dr. Dubin. We've worked together for almost 20 years doing the same thing — helping companies reduce their WC costs.
